WUGA 91.7 / 97.9 FM, UGA’s public radio station, will host a live taping of the nationally syndicated radio show Mountain Stage with host Larry Groce at 7 p.m. Aug. 27 in the Hugh Hodgson Concert Hall of the Performing Arts Center.
A production of West Virginia Public Broadcasting, Mountain Stage is a series of two-hour specials that present acts ranging from traditional roots and country music to avant garde rock and jazz.
In addition to showcasing both established and emerging artists from the U.S., Mountain Stage has featured artists from all over the world.
