University of Missouri chancellor, his wife make $2 million donation

The chancellor of the University of Missouri at St. Louise and his wife have made a $2 million donation to the institution’s College of Fine Arts and Communication, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch recently reported.

Thomas F. George, the chancellor, and his wife, Barbara Harbach, a music professor, made the gift during the public phase of the university’s seven-year-long capital campaign that began in 2005. In the last fiscal year, the institution raised $26.9 million for the campaign.
