Universities partner with coding camps to grow marketable skills

Universities like North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Central Florida, Northwestern and Rutgers are partnering with companies that offer boot camps in coding in an effort to grow marketable skills under the name-brand recognition of reputable institutions, according to a recent article in The Chronicle of Higher Education.

Although many boot camp enrollees aren’t actually students at the universities, the institutions are generally highly involved in admissions and curricula vetting of the programs.
