Student life grant proposals

The UGA Parents Leadership Council is accepting grant proposals for the 2017-2018 academic year to fund programs and events that enhance the student experience at UGA.

Grant applications are due Jan. 27 by 5 p.m. Grants will be accepted only from UGA schools, colleges, units, departments, divisions or student organizations registered with the Center for Student Activities and Involvement.

Proposals must demonstrate a direct and positive effect on student life at UGA. Grants will be awarded in February by a committee established by the Parents Leadership Council.

Since 2002, the council has funded $1.6 million in grants to various programs and organizations on campus including the Counseling and Psychiatric Services Center at the University Health Center, the Office of the Dean of Students, Designated Dawgs Safe Rides program, Campus Kitchen at UGA and more.
