The Sponsored Projects Administration Site, an easily accessible website for research-related policies, procedures and forms, was launched in March by the Contracts and Grants Division and the Office for Sponsored Programs.

Researchers can use SPAS to quickly define and locate research administration information throughout UGA websites.

Navigation is assisted by an A-to-Z glossary of more than 250 terms and an outline of the sponsored projects process, from finding collaborators to closing out an award.

The site also offers links to research-related policies, procedures, guidelines and forms and provides contact information for contracts and grants staff.

The site was developed in response to faculty committee recommendations.

Faculty and staff focus groups were asked to review and critique the site and ensure that the information presented meets the needs of all members of the UGA research community.
