The Performing Arts Center has ceated the Saturday Morning Club, a new family concert series. Designed for children ages 4 through 12, the Saturday Morning Club will feature performers from UGA’s Hugh Hodgson School of Music and will give young audiences an inside look at what it takes to make music.

The Saturday Morning Club kicks off Oct. 26—a nonfootball Saturday—at 10 a.m. with the UGA Wind Symphony. After the concert, young patrons will be treated to refreshments and an interactive Instrument Petting Zoo.

The other two concerts in the Saturday Morning Club series will be the UGA Percussion Ensemble on March 22 at 10 a.m. and the UGA Hodgson Singers and Friends on April 26 at 10 a.m. All concerts will take place in Hodgson Concert Hall in the Performing Arts Center.

The Saturday Morning Club is presented in partnership with Athens Regional Health System. Tickets are $6 for children and $10 for adults. Subscriptions for all three concerts are $14 for children and $24 for adults.

Tickets can be purchased by calling 706-542-4400 or going online to http://pac.uga.edu.
