The U.S. Office of Personnel Management has proposed a new program to make it easier for recent college graduates to pursue degrees in public service, The Chronicle of Higher Education reported. Called the Pathways Program, the proposed initiative would improve recruiting and provides for training, mentoring and career development opportunities, officials said. The program stems from a directive from President Obama as part of a hiring reform initiative.
