Panelists to discuss new media, politics

UGA and the office of U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga.) will present the panel discussion “New Media: How Technology Influences American Politics” Sept. 20 from 1-3 p.m. in the Chapel.

In addition to Chambliss, featured panelists include U.S. Ben Nelson (D-Neb.), Neal Boortz, syndicated radio host,and Cully Clark, dean of UGA’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. Free and open to the public, the discussion will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
