Observatory open house
The department of physics and astronomy will host its monthly observatory open house Feb. 24 from 7:30-9 p.m. on the roof of the Physics Building.
If the skies are clear, the crescent moon and the planets Jupiter and Venus will be viewable. If the skies are cloudy, there will be a talk in the main lecture hall.
Observatory open houses are held monthly during fall and spring semesters. Upcoming open houses will be held March 23 and April 20. For more information, see www.physast.uga.edu/observatory/schedule.
