The University of Georgia: Images and Recollections, a collector’s edition book featuring vivid photographs of all the major UGA buildings and some favorite landmarks, is now available from Old College Press. The 144-page, premium hard-bound coffee-table book features a compilation of 131 color images-from the Arch on North Campus to the more recent structures on East Campus.

Throughout the book are poignant recollections of alumni like Tom Johnson, former CEO of CNN; Dan Magill, longtime UGA icon; Maxine Clark, founder and CEO of Build-a-Bear Workshop; and retired director of athletics Vince Dooley.

Jack Davis, the illustrator best known for his work in MAD Magazine, contributed an original drawing.

Inspired by his own UGA memories, Garon Hart, a 1974 graduate who majored in graphic design, created this book.

Images and Recollections invites alumni to reflect on their own collegiate experiences,” said Hart.
Most of the photographs were taken by Hart and Doug Fallon, a 1978 graduate. A few photographs are courtesy of UGA Photographic Services.
