Landscape architect will give College of Environment and Design lecture

The College of Environment and Design will host a lecture Feb. 2 at 5 p.m. in Room 123 of the Jackson Street Building.

Thomas Rainer, who received his master’s degree in landscape architecture from UGA in 2002, will discuss new prospects and possibilities for plants in the landscape in a world that is increasingly urban.

He recently co-authored the book Planting in a Post-Wild World: Designing Plant Communities for Resilient Landscapes with Claudia West.

The lecture is open free to the public. For more information, visit https://t.uga.edu/2Vx.
