UGA’s Office of International Student Life office will host the 13th annual International Street Festival April 9 from noon-5 p.m. on College Avenue in downtown Athens. More than 35 international and multicultural student organizations will sponsor interactive cultural displays as well as musical and dance performances representing 15 countries.
“The festival is designed to promote cultural diversity, awareness and tolerance among international and university students and the Athens and surrounding communities in a fun, festive and educational environment,” said Ashley Wichman, assistant director of ISL.
