Help with student debt

In an effort to attract more graduate students, the University System of New Hampshire plans to market a new program to businesses, according to The Chronicle of Higher Education. Companies that participate in the Stay Work Play Incentive Program would contribute a total of $8,000 to a recent graduate’s student loan debt over four years of employment. The money would be paid in installments to the employee’s student-loan provider after each year of service was completed.

In the fall, the program will be available to new graduates. The university system’s planners hope they can get at least 30 to 40 companies to participate for the program’s first year.
