Head of Ford Motor Co. to take part in ‘USA Today’ CEO Forum at UGA

Alan Mulally, president and CEO of Ford Motor Co., will be on campus to take part in the USA Today CEO Forum Oct. 1 from 2-3:15 p.m. in Grand Hall of the Tate Student Center. The event will be broadcast live on a large projector screen in the Tate Atrium.

Mike Snider, technology and digital entertainment reporter for USA Today, will cover the event for a front-page article in the newspaper’s “Money” section.

The leader of the No. 10 company on the 2013 Fortune 500 list, Mulally will discuss his role as president and chief executive officer of Ford Motor Co. After sharing his own experience, he will take part in a question-and-answer session with audience members.

Mulally has been named Fortune Magazine‘s “Businessperson of the Year” and one of “The World’s Most Influential People” by Time magazine.

The CEO Forum is presented by the Student Government Association, University Union, the Division of Student Affairs, the Terry College of Business, the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, the College of Engineering and USA Today.
