Harvard U. increases diversity in tenure, tenure-track faculty

Harvard University has its most diverse tenured faculty in its history, according to its Office of the Senior Vice Provost.

One in every four tenured professors are women, and nearly 40 percent of the tenure-track positions are now held by women. The percentage of tenured white male professors decreased by about 9 percent from 2008.
