Franklin College launches blog

The Franklin College of Arts and Sciences has launched a blog to encourage discussion about the role of the liberal arts in society while also highlighting innovative research, scholarship and creative endeavors at the college.

The Franklin Chronicles: Arts and Sciences Matters features news, opinion, announcements and video from the Franklin College and beyond. Curated by Alan Flurry, producer and editor at the college, the blog encourages comments from readers as a way to connect the Franklin College with a broader audience. The blog is organized around topical themes—arts, health, earth, society, human nature and international—that reflect the increasingly interdisciplinary nature of the work conducted at the college and cut across all five academic divisions.
