Florida A&M law school accredited

The American Bar Association recently announced the first full accreditation in the history of Florida A&M’s College of Law, The Chronicle of Higher Education reported.

The historically African-American law school re-opened in 2002 after legislators forced its closing in an effort to desegregate schools. In Florida, students who graduate from unaccredited law schools are not permitted to take the bar exam. Before the accreditation, Florida A&M’s program held temporary accreditation.
