Finalists for MCG-UGA Medical Partnership deanship give seminars on campus

Four finalists for the new position of dean of the Medical College of Georgia-University of Georgia Medical Partnership will present public seminars on campus for faculty, staff and students.

Two finalists will present seminars later this month. Both begin at 9:15 a.m. at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education Conference Center and Hotel.

Thomas P. Malan Jr., vice dean for academic affairs at University of Arizona College of Medicine, will give a seminar July 17.

Stephen J. Spann, professor and chair of the department of family and community medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, will speak July 25.

Barbara L. Schuster, professor of medicine, professor of geriatrics, Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and Bruce M. Koeppen, dean for academic affairs at University of Connecticut School of Medicine, already have presented their seminars.
