Total fall enrollments at Canadian universities up more than 4 percent

The Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada reported that enrollments at many Canadian universities saw their largest increase is six years this fall, according to preliminary figures. Total enrollments were up by 4.6 percent, with the number of full-time undergraduates students rose by 4 percent and the number of graduate students grew by 7 percent. Part of the increase comes from an influx of 7,000 foreign students, the association reported.
