The College of Education, with Web manager Daniel Fowler and developers Chris Seymour and Dave Wynne, was busy for the past two years.
From January to August in 2014, they completely rebuilt the college’s website in a flat-file content management system called Statamic. Previously in WordPress with over 6,000 pages, the website was gutted down to 800 pages while adding brand new features including a master calendar, news archive, private intranet and directory that enables faculty and staff to self-update their public profile.
The COE website was touched up in May and August 2015 and now serves content to 400,000 users annually.
