Kathryn Kay, a graduate student in college student affairs administration, is one of only two students in the nation selected as an Outstanding National Orientation Directors Association Intern for 2008.
Kay, a second-year master’s degree student in the College of Education’s department of counseling and human development services, was selected for her work this past summer as an intern for Georgia Tech.
Kay earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast news from UGA in 2005. She worked for two years as a business consultant for Accenture in Atlanta before returning to UGA. Kay hopes to work in first-year orientation or parent programs within student affairs, after her expected graduation in May 2009.
