As part of Heart Health Month, the University Health Center will offer UGA faculty and staff and their spouse or domestic partner cholesterol screening Feb. 9-12 and Feb. 16-19 from 8 a.m. to noon and from 1-3 p.m. No appointment is necessary for the test, which costs $10.
The screening requires that participants not eat anything after midnight on the night before they take the test. They also should drink plenty of water so they are fully hydrated at the time blood is drawn. Results will be sent by mail. Participants must bring a current UGACard or picture ID.
