Associate engineering professor receives Young Researcher Award

Changying “Charlie” Li, an associate professor in the College of Engineering, is the recipient of the 2016 New Holland Young Researcher Award from the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers.

Established in 1972, the award recognizes the dedicated use of scientific methodology to discover facts or principles significant to the agricultural engineering profession. Li was honored for his research and teaching of sensing and automation in food and agricultural systems.

The ASABE is an international scientific and educational organization dedicated to the advancement of engineering applicable to agricultural, food and biological systems.
