Ohio’s Antioch College hires three faculty as it moves to re-open

Antioch College, a private liberal arts college in Yellow Springs, Ohio, has filled half of six tenure-track positions as it moves to reopen this fall with 25 students, The Chronicle of Higher Education reported.

The college has hired two assistant professors in philosophy and cultural anthropology as well as an associate professor of chemistry. Antioch, which was founded in 1852, closed in July 2008 following shrinking enrollment and financial problems.
