Administrative changes

• Josh Brewer, a former assistant coach at the University of Southern California, has been named head women’s golf coach at UGA. Prior to his four-year stint with the women’s and men’s golf teams at USC, Brewer was assistant men’s golf coach and assistant club professional at Indiana University, his alma mater, from 2003-2008. He earned two degrees from Indiana: a bachelor’s in business management in 1998 and a master’s in kinesiology in 2008.

• Anjali Dougherty has been named interim director of the Internal Auditing Division. An auditor in the division since 2006, Dougherty worked as a controller for a private company in Athens and as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Franklin and Marshall College in Pennsylvania and is a certified public accountant.

• Mark Huber, senior lecturer in the department of management information systems in the Terry College of Business, has been named interim director of the college’s Institute for Leadership Advancement. A national search for a permanent director will begin in the fall. 

• Chris Shupe has been promoted to assistant operations director and full-time program host at WUGA-FM. He is responsible for coordinating local programming, including production of underwriting messages and public service announcements.

In addition, he is the weekday local host for the program “All Things Considered.” A 1990 graduate of UGA, Shupe has been in the entertainment profession for more than 30 years.
