The Office of the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach will hold its annual luncheon and awards ceremony April 12 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Grand Hall of the Tate Student Center.
While the event traditionally has been held in February of each year in the Georgia Center for Continuing Education Conference Center and Hotel, the location and date were changed to coincide with the University of Georgia Honors Week. The upcoming 20th Public Service and Outreach Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon will feature the vice president’s traditional State of Public Service and Outreach address, guest keynote speaker and the Staff Awards for Excellence, Scholarship of Engagement Award and Walter Barnard Hill Awards and Fellow presentation ceremony.
