Young Dawgs work sites needed

The Young Dawgs program, coordinated by Human Resources, is in need of university work sites to place local high school students in unpaid internships. In the past year, the program has served more than 165 students and is growing. It will serve approximately 65 students during spring semester and 150 students this summer.

The goals of the Young Dawgs program include preparing a workforce for UGA, recruiting potential students for UGA and providing high school students with broader opportunities within their career interests. The Young Dawgs interns participate in a rigorous application process prior to placement, including meeting academic criteria and interviewing with prospective supervisors.
