TIP program instructors

The Torrance Center for Creativity and Talent Development and the Georgia Center for Continuing Education Conference Center and Hotel are seeking faculty and staff to teach academic subjects to gifted middle school and high school students.

Courses are five or 12 hours in length and take place on weekends throughout the academic year. Course topics are needed across a variety of academic disciplines.

The UGA-Duke Talent Identification Programs are designed to enrich the academic lives of gifted students and introduce them to subject matter they may not experience in local school systems.

For more information on the program or to request an instructor information packet (including compensation information), contact Jen Schumann at jen.schumann@georgiacenter.uga.edu or (706) 542-3537. Spring course proposals are due Oct. 15.
