A Washington Post story about former Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney dropping out of the race quoted Jason Berggren, a temporary assistant professor of political science. Berggren spoke about Romney’s political motives for stepping aside.

“Romney might be thinking ahead,” he said. “He knows where the queue starts for 2012 or 2016. I can imagine Romney booking a flight to Des Moines (Iowa) the day after the general election.”
