Entrepreneurial Week at UGA continues through March 29. It is part of Thinc. at UGA, a new initiative that promotes entrepreneurship and fosters economic development. Among the highlights:
On March 25, student entrepreneurs will share their success stories and offer advice at 11 a.m. during a panel discussion in the Tate Student Center Theatre.
On March 26 at 8:30 a.m. in Room 128 of the Center for Applied Genetic Technologies, Ed Schutter, CEO of Arbor Pharmaceuticals, will talk about how to prepare and pursue venture funding. At 7 p.m. in DanceFx Studios, “Making a Living Doing What You Love” will be held.
On March 27 at 12:30 p.m. in Mahler Auditorium of the Georgia Center, “UGA Women at the Frontier,” will highlight some of the state’s female trailblazers in business, science, technology, politics and humanitarianism.
On March 28 beginning at 9 a.m., Room 271 of the special collections library will be the site of discussions by executives at Singularity University. At 3:30 p.m. in Room 101 of the Miller Learning Center, UGA faculty and alumni will share new perspectives on art and entrepreneurship.
On March 29 at 2 p.m. in Room 271 of the special collections libraries, the Office of Alumni Relations will host a panel discussion with five Bulldog 100 honorees. The March 29 songwriter showcase Songs for Ciné, has sold out.
