Archie Carroll, professor emeritus of management in the Terry College of Business, has released the 10th edition of Business & Society: Ethics, Sustainability and Stakeholder Management, a textbook used to teach courses in business ethics, corporate social responsibility and business and society. The book was co-authored by Jill Brown, an associate professor of management at Bentley University who also received her doctorate at UGA, and the late Ann Buchholtz, a professor of leadership and ethics at Rutgers University.

Business & Society aims to demonstrate the importance of business ethics, sustainability and stakeholder management and to teach students how effective business decision makers can balance and protect the interests of various stakeholders, including investors, employees, consumers, the community and the environment.

The 10th edition includes content that further emphasizes the social, legal, political and ethical responsibilities of today’s businesses to both external and internal stakeholder groups.
