Suzanne Yoculan, former head gymnastics coach, was honored on the House floor of the State Capitol last month. She received a resolution honoring her achievements at UGA and was introduced by Georgia State Rep. Doug McKillip of Athens.
During her 26-year tenure as gymnastics coach, Yoculan guided the team to 10 national championships, the last five in a row, 16 Southeastern Conference titles and 22 NCAA regional crowns. Her teams placed in the nation’s top three in 21 of the last 22 years.
