Summer camps, programs

A list of summer activities for children and teens at UGA is online at
www.admissions.uga.edu/article/precollegiate_programs.html.

The activities range from sports camps to leadership programs to academic-intensive offerings and internships, with some camps offering students the chance to stay in the residence halls.

There are nature workshops for toddlers at the State Botanical Garden, animation and graphics camps for teens at the Georgia Center’s Summer Academy and music camps for high school students at the Hugh Hodgson School of Music.

A new offering this year is the Drama Dawgs Summer Theatre Camp hosted by UGA’s department of theatre of film studies.
