Stacey Neuharth-Pritchett, an educational psychology professor, has been elected president of the Georgia Association on Young Children, a nonprofit membership organization that promotes quality early care and education for young children.
She will serve a two-year term beginning in January.
The group supports appropriate early learning standards and assessments, accreditation of child care and early education programs, professional development opportunities for those who work with young children and early detection and support of children with special needs.
