The National Student Speech Language Hearing Association is hosting its fourth annual 5K to raise money in support of the UGA Speech and Hearing Clinic, which is housed within the communication sciences and special education department.
“Ready, Set, Speak!” will be held March 1 at 8:30 a.m. Staff and faculty are encouraged to participate in this event on campus. Proceeds will support the clinic, which has offered services to people in and around the Athens area who have speech, language and/or hearing problems.
