Faculty, staff, students and community members interested in service-learning are invited to a fall meeting at the Fanning Institute on Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. until noon.
The meeting will include information on UGA’s recently submitted Carnegie Elective Classification for Community Engagement, mini grants to support service-learning, campus-wide service-learning initiatives relating to local food/community gardening, service-learning in P-16 settings, stronger collaborations with public service and outreach units through service-learning and faculty development and research opportunities.
