A Chattanooga, Tenn. Times-Free Press article about the Georgia’s governor’s race quoted UGA political scientist Charles Bullock. He was asked about the role teachers may play in the election, which he said may be problematic for former governor Roy Barnes.
“I think [Barnes] has a sense of that, too, and that’s why he’s seeking their forgiveness,” he said. “What is unknown is the degree to which those apologies are being accepted.”
