An article in Time magazine about how social networking Web sites like Facebook are reconnecting old flames and former lovers in a phenomenon labeled “retrosexual” romances quoted Keith Campbell, associate professor of psychology.
“You get a thrill out of finding an old girlfriend just to see if she still likes you,” said Campbell. “You’re curious to see what she looks like, and it’s easy to fantasize about alternative courses your life might have taken.”
