Research study participants

College of Family and Consumer Sciences nutrition researchers are continuing to search for women who are fewer than 16 weeks pregnant for a study focusing on body composition. Participants should be: between 21 and 39 years old; women in their first trimester of pregnancy; have a husband/partner and both sets of grandparents that are of the same race; and available for testing that will be arranged at their convenience on weekdays or weekends.

During the study, participants’ body composition will be measured and, after they give birth, their infant’s body composition will be measured.

Participants will be asked to complete a questionnaire and dietary recall.
