Reduced theater tickets

The Cinematic Arts Division of the University Union Student Programming Board announced a reduction in ticket prices and unveiled its fall movie schedule for the Tate Student Center Theater.

Effective immediately, admission to all movies is $1 for students with valid UGACards and $2 for all others.

Thursday nights will be devoted to modern classics, with scheduled films like One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (1975), The Graduate (1967), Stand By Me (1986) and Basic Instinct (1992).

The weekend will play host to newer films and sneak previews. Upcoming screenings include Thank You for Smoking (2005), Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest (2006), Monster House (2006), The Journalist and Jihadi: The Murder of Daniel Pearl (2006) and World Trade Center (2006).
