The U.S. Office of Management and Budget is now using new categories to describe racial/ethnic groups to which individuals belong, identify with or belong in the eyes of the community.
To assure that UGA’s data is accurate, faculty, staff and students are asked to affirm their race/ethnicity. Do this by logging into the MyUGA portal (https://my.uga.edu/uPortal/) and then clicking on the “Who Are We?” link. From that location, verify or change your reported race/ethnicity.
Data shown has been mapped from existing data as much as possible, but it may need to be updated. While responding to this request is optional, it is hoped employees and students will take the time to quickly check their information, which will help maintain and report accurate data on the UGA community.
