Pratt Cassity received Award for Excellence in Service-Learning

The Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture awarded Pratt Cassity, director of the College of Environment and Design’s Center for Community Design and Preservation, with the senior-level Award for Excellence in Service-Learning at the 2013 annual conference in Austin, Texas. 

Cassity was nominated for his accomplishments at the international, national, state and local levels, including being responsible for the development of the graduate and undergraduate service-learning course “Design Charrettes,” which conduct community-based design interventions.
