Applications and nominations are being accepted for the position of director, Division of Academic Enhancement, to be filled through an internal search by Jan. 1, or as soon thereafter as feasible.
The Division of Academic Enhancement helps students achieve academic success by providing academic assistance, counseling and tutoring; offering both UNIV and Enhancement Learning Support courses; and overseeing the Freshman College Summer Experience and UGA’s federally supported TRIO programs. Excluding the TRIO programs, 19 full-time faculty and staff members work in the division.
The director reports to the vice president for instruction and has responsibility for the faculty/staff and programs of the division. Nominations and applications, including a letter of application and a curriculum vitae, should be sent to Ann Crowther, chair of the search and screening committee in OVPI, by Sept. 10 to be assured full consideration.
