Participation sought for NRC study

This year UGA is participating in the National Research Council Study of Research Doctorate Programs, which examines then summarizes and ranks 200 institutions across the nation. The study will cover 52 doctoral programs at UGA and rely on faculty members and doctoral candidates to complete voluntary questionnaires about program characteristics. The results will be published on the NRC Web site once the study is completed.

Anyone contacted by NRC about the study is encouraged to participate so that a complete accounting of the program will be done. Participation is not required and will not affect anyone’s standing within the university.
