Online software training

IT Contracts and Licensing Administration, a division of UGA’s chief information office, has arranged for faculty, staff and students to try Lynda.com, an online software training company, for the month of September.

The website offers tutorials on subjects ranging from Adobe Photoshop to Dreamweaver to Javascript to animation Excel and Powerpoint training.

Based on user feedback, UGA will decide whether or not to move forward with this service, which will not replace Element K.

Additional information, including Lynda.com login instructions, will be online in the UGA Portal, my.uga.edu/. Questions can be referred to the EITS Help Desk at 706-542-3106.
