The UGA Observatory will be open for public viewings Feb. 12 at 8 p.m.; March 19 at 9 p.m.; and April 9 at 9:30 p.m. The observatory, located atop the Physics and Astronomy Building, usually stays open on those evenings for 60 to 90 minutes.
In case of clouds for the Feb. 12 open house, Scott Shaw will give a talk entitled “The Brightest and Furthest: GRB090423.”
