Multi-location Plantapalooza set for April 6

Plantapalooza
Members of the community shopping at Plantapalooza last year.

Plantapalooza, a multi-location plant sale, will be held April 6 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the State Botanical Garden, the Trial Garden at UGA and a UGA Horticulture Club sale at the intersection of Riverbend and College Station roads.

Each sale offers a different experience. Trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and more will fill the Visitor Center and Conservatory as well as the front and back plazas at the State Botanical Garden, with garden curators, horticulturists and master gardeners to answer questions.

UGA horticulture professors will share their knowledge at the UGA Horticulture Club sale.

Allan Armitage, writer and professor in the horticulture department, will lead tours and sign copies of his books at the Trial Garden at UGA plant sale.
