Michael Eriksen, an assistant professor of real estate in the Terry College of Business, is collaborating on a $500,000 research grant from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation with Gary Engelhardt, professor of economics at Syracuse University, and Nadia Greenhalgh-Stanley, assistant professor of economics at Kent State University. They are investigating affordable housing and the living arrangements of older adult on their health outcomes. The grant period is for three years, and Eriksen will receive $96,068 over that period.
