Melissa Shivers, director of intercultural affairs, gave the keynote address at a commemorative program as part of Florida State University’s 21st annual
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Celebration events. The address was entitled “The Legacy, the Dream, the Vision: We Can Do More.”
The program followed a simulated civil rights march led by the Florida State chapter of the NAACP.
