Marshall Shepherd, associate professor of geography, has been appointed to the Committee on National Security Implications of Climate Change on U.S. Naval Forces. This committee operates under the auspices of the National Research Council of the National Academies. The 15-month study will produce two reports for the Department of the Navy.
